Lake County Theater Company is holding auditions for “Mindgame” by Anthony Horowitz, 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Lake County Arts Council, 325 N. Main St. in Lakeport and from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Jan. 14 in Weaver Auditorium in the Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake . * Singer, songwriter, political satirist, and comedian Roy Zimmerman will appear in a special benefit for radio station KPFZ 88.1 FM at the Soper Reese Community Theatre, located at 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Opening for Zimmerman is local singer and songwriter Vic Star.
Cost of tickets is $20 per person. Tickets are available at the Soper-Reese box office, Watershed Books and at the KPFZ studios, located at 149 Main St. in Lakeport. Tickets are also available by calling 350-1150.

* Poet Laureate for Lake County Russell Reza-Khaliq Gonzaga presents two appearances by writers Nazelah J Jeffries, Dahled Jeffries and Rachel Adair.
