CLEARLAKE — Southshore Little League (SLL) will hold sign-ups for the 2011 season from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 18 at Pogo”s Pizza in the Burns Valley Shopping Mall in Clearlake. Additional sign-ups will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and again Jan. 21 at Lower Lake High School.
Player registration fees are as follows: One child $65; each additional child is $50. Fees include uniform, hat, shirt and trophy. SLL accepts cash or checks payable to Southshore Little League. All checks will be deposited on Feb. 4. Please bring payment, original birth certificate and proof of physical address.
SLL serves children in the following baseball divisions: 4-6 years old — T-ball; 7-8 years old — Lower Minors; 8-10 years old — Minors; 10-12 years old — Majors; 13-14 years old — Juniors; 15-16 years old — Seniors.
Baseball league age is prior to May 1, 2012.
SLL serves children in the following softball divisions: 9-12 years old — Majors; 13-14 years old — Juniors; 15-16 years old — Seniors.
Softball league age is prior to Jan. 1, 2012.
Players must try out for all softball divisions and for the Minors, Majors, Juniors and Seniors baseball divisions.
Volunteer coaches and umpires are being sought for the 2012 season. Please bring your California Driver”s License to a registration date and fill out a volunteer form.
