LOCH LOMOND — The Lake County Sheriff”s Office (LCSO) is looking for three men in connection with an alleged home invasion and car theft.

Deputies responded to a residence in Loch Lomond Tuesday morning around 5:40 a.m. after receiving a report of a robbery, LCSO Sgt. Steve Brooks said.

A man woke up at approximately 5 a.m. after hearing a noise coming from inside his residence, Brooks said.

The alleged victim got out of bed and found three men in his hallway wearing dark clothes and ski masks, according to Brooks. The man reportedly told authorities one of the invaders had a gun and all three attacked and overpowered him.

The three suspects allegedly said they were looking for marijuana and cash, and proceeded to ransack the residence, Brooks said.

The men reportedly stole electronics, money and the alleged victim”s 2007 blue Toyota Sienna. Brooks said the LCSO recovered the van in the Kelseyville area late Wednesday morning.

The alleged victim received medical attention at the scene by CAL FIRE personnel and was later taken by a private citizen to St. Helena Hospital Clear Lake for additional treatment, according to Brooks.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding the case is encouraged to contact Detective John Drewrey at 262-4223.
