LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants to fill vacancies or seek re-appointments on many of its advisory boards.

The Animal Control Advisory Board has two vacancies: one for supervisorial District 2 and one at-large member.

The Area 1 Development Disabilities Board seeks to fill two vacancies. Applicants with disabilities or parents or guardians of someone with disabilities are sought.

There are three vacancies on the Big Valley Groundwater Management Zone Commission: two in the water districts category and one at-large member.

The Building Board of Appeals seeks to fill two vacancies for supervisorial districts 1 and 2.

Two vacancies exist on the Child Care Planning and Development Council; applicants for community representative and childcare provider are sought.

The Clear Lake Advisory Committee has four vacancies: One in wildlife, one in water quality, one in fishery and one in aquatic plants.

The Emergency Medical Care Committee has seven vacancies: One in the Community College District, one ER affiliated medical care coordinator, one paramedic representative, two EMT representatives, one private ambulance company and one in the consumers-interested group category.

The Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee has one vacancy in the wildlife/conservation industry.

Two vacancies exist in the Heritage Commission for supervisorial districts 2 and 5.

The IHSS Advisory Committee has four vacancies: Two in the senior consumer category, one in the senior community and one in the disabled consumer categories.

Two vacancies exist on the Mental Health Advisory Board: one in the consumer category and one in general membership.

Two general membership vacancies exist on the Section 8 Resident Advisory Board.

One general membership vacancy also exists on the North Bay Cooperative Library Advisory Board.

Other advisory board seats may currently be vacant. For a comprehensive list, see the posted roster outside the Clerk of the Board”s Office, Room 109 at the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.
