LUCERNE — Lakeside Art gallery, part of the Harbor Village Artist group in Lucerne at Harbor Park, is starting a new guest artist program.
As a guest artist, Gytha March will show hand painted jewelry, wearable art, furniture and framed watercolor paintings.
Gael Antognini does felting, needle felting, three-dimensional pet portraits, jewelry and pet portraits by commission. Samples of the artists” work can be viewed at the gallery”s website www.Lakesideart.org.
The presentation of the artists” work is slated to begin Wednesday, with a Meet the Artist Day to be scheduled for later in February.
The Gourd Gallery and Serendipity, also of Harbor Village Artists, will have guest artists from their shops take part in this event also.
The ongoing members of Lakeside Art include Patty Oates, showing local landscapes in oil, and painted and beaded gourd shard necklaces and earrings sets.
Toni Stewart is a custom milliner, designing hats of all styles, including caps and sun hats. Susan Finch Laymon, with her art photography featuring a variety of subjects, many presented as canvas giclees. Laymon also offers ceramic wall hangings and other ceramic pieces.
The newest full-fledged member is Pat Skoog with water color paintings and hand-dyed and painted clothing.
