UPDATED:

The people who own and run a corporation are held harmless as individuals for the debts and liabilities that the company may accrue.

Therefore, they may make decisions and cause effects that take advantage or harm others without consequences. The argument that corporations are voting as a voice of their shareholders is laughable. It”s silly to think there are a large corporations in which everyone agrees on political issues and candidates. I”m sure there are some small ones. But even so, every individual already has an individual vote. The human status for corporations was a rat come through the back door. No one likes it except corporations that still want to buy elections.
