LAKE COUNTY — Patrol deputies and investigators continue to hand out blankets and stuffed toys that someone donated late last year, the Lake County Sheriff”s Office (LCSO) announced Tuesday.
A person who wishes to remain anonymous contributed almost 40 new blankets, each packaged with a stuffed animal, in December, the LCSO said.
The donations were obtained through a group of volunteers for law enforcement personnel to give away during their contacts with in-need children, the department said.
Many were reportedly dispersed during the holiday season.
