MIDDLETOWN — The Lake County Charter School in Middletown will host acting classes for elementary school students during February and March. Students do not have to attend the charter school in order to take these classes.

Creative drama for students in kindergarten to second grade take place from 2:40 to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays, March 1 through April 5. Class will not meet on March 15.

Improvisation and theater games for grades three to six take place from 2:40 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 27 through April 2. Class will not meet on March 19.

Students will play improv games using imagination, pantomime, voice and movement. They will explore their expressive creativity in a supportive and non-competitive, environment.

The classes are taught by Jessica Sage, who began her stage career as an actor. For the past 16 years she has been teaching acting and writing plays. Sage has directed 30 theatrical productions.
