LUCERNE — A parole search by the Lake County Sheriff”s Office (LCSO) Narcotics Task Force Saturday resulted in two arrests and the seizure of drug-related items, a department spokesman said Wednesday.

Detectives and a drug-detection K-9 conducted the search around 12:10 p.m. at the Lucerne home of Richard L. Parker, LCSO Sgt. Steve Brooks said.

The investigators allegedly contacted Parker, 42, and Lisa T. Lundquist, 34, of Upper Lake once inside the residence.

While looking outside the Roland Drive home, the K-9 alerted detectives to a vehicle belonging to Lundquist, according to Brooks.

The dog found two lock boxes inside the vehicle behind the front seat, the sergeant said.

Brooks alleged the detectives opened the containers and found methamphetamine, hypodermic needles, digital scales and packaging materials.

Lundquist was arrested on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance for sale and having a hypodermic needle.

Parker was arrested for a misdemeanor charge of using a controlled substance.

Both were booked into the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility Saturday afternoon.

The LCSO Narcotics Task Force will continue its efforts to eradicate narcotics from the communities of Lake County and seize the suspected profits of drug trafficking for asset forfeiture whenever possible, Brooks said.
