POTTER VALLEY — Mary Brown matched her jersey number with 22 points and Kyra Rudnick scored a season-high 19 on Wednesday night to power the Kelseyville Knights to a 70-26 non-league win over Potter Valley in varsity girls” basketball action at Potter Valley.
Brown had three 3-pointers for the Knights (4-18), who set a single-game season high for points (their previous best was 62 in a league win over St. Helena).
“Kyra and Mary, they were doing a lot of fastbreaks,” Kelseyville coach Christina Taylor said.
Kelseyville led 18-4 after one quarter and 36-14 at halftime.
Amanda Spitzer joined teammates Brown and Rudnick in double figures with 12 points.
Kelseyville also won the junior varsity game 45-19 behind 21 points from Amanda Ahart.
The Knights close out their season tonight at home against Lower Lake. JV action tips off at 6 p.m.
