I have one question about Mike Thompson”s critique of Republican obstruction of the current bill.
What”s wrong with creating tens of thousands of jobs by passing a bill that includes the Keystone Pipeline and opening up Anwar to oil exploration and limiting our dependence on foreign oil. If this is obstructionism, I”d better go back to school. Do you have an alternative to oil that will be viable tomorrow, and I mean tomorrow? And if so, what is it? The Keystone Pipeline project was the longest, three years, the most extensive, and most expensive, $1 billion EIR report in history. What more do you want?
