UPPER LAKE — On Saturday the Tallman Hotel hosts the Andean ensemble Cuyuy led by Javier Salmon for Concerts with Conversation.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the informal concert takes place in the Meeting House, seating about 40, next to the hotel in Upper Lake. The Tallman donates 10 percent of series revenue to the Soper-Reese Community Theatre Fund. Joining Salmon will be American Cory Veltman, Chilean Lorenzo Schoffer, Argentine Jorge Porfirio and Salvadoran Hirtson Velasquez.
Blue Wing Restaurant executive chef Nick Heidemann plans to prepare Peruvian specials for the evening.
Tickets cost $25 plus tax; the price of admission includes coffee and cookies.
