LAKEPORT — The Lakeport Police Department (LPD) received a report Thursday of a missing “at risk” man.

Darayn S. Schweizer, 44, was reported missing at 8 p.m. Thursday, according to the LPD. The LPD reported that Schweizer suffers from a mental condition and has not been taking his medication regularly, which could result in bizarre behavior and disorientation.

LPD stated Schweizer is typically non-violent and will likely speak to strangers. He reportedly may be trying to get back to his residence in Moses Lake, Wash.

Schweizer is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches, weighing 200 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and two tattoos (“mom” on his right wrist and a dragon on his left forearm). He was said to be wearing a green sweatshirt, blue painter pants and black boots when last seen by a family member at the intersection of Third and Park streets Thursday at 2 p.m.

LPD asks people with information in this matter to call 9-1-1 or their local law enforcement agency, as Schweizer has been entered into the Countrywide Missing Person database.
