LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Community Co-op now offers home delivery and telephone ordering of locally- and regionally-grown food.
People can order by telephone from 9 a.m. Sunday through 9 p.m. Monday at 513-5226. Members ordering outside of the Clearlake drop point must have funds deposited on account prior to accepting phone orders. Checks may be mailed to P.O. Box 6306, Clearlake, CA 95422.
Pay Pal may be paid on account through the co-op”s Facilitated Online Ordering and Distribution System (FOODS). Orders left by voicemail will be confirmed.
An expanded online order window is open from 12:01 a.m. Sunday through 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. FOODS order pick up is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Home delivery is available at a cost of $5 to most addresses within a two-mile radius of an existing drop point. Feasibility will be confirmed by the driver prior to the first delivery.
When opening his or her basket, the interested buyer should select “Home Delivery” or “Work Delivery.” To review and edit a work or home address, click “Update Membership Info” from the Member Center page.
The buyer should choose the drop point nearest the requested delivery address. A $5 delivery charge will automatically be added to the buyer”s invoice. The account will be credited if delivery is unavailable.
