Mr. Ridgel”s latest letter continues his negative sour grapes saga more than three years after his party lost the Presidential election.
Perhaps he has not been reading articles in the business section of the paper that include the auto company bailouts have worked, consumer confidence is rising, purchasing is up, jobs are being created, and Americans are reducing their credit card debt.
Interesting too is that his letter makes little mention of those illustrious Republican contenders who would more successfully take us into the future.
It was prudent to leave those sorry individuals out of any discussion.
I prefer the positive outlook as I believe most Americans do, with less tiresome criticism and more focus on achievement.
