KELSEYVILLE — Winning pitcher Cameron Serrano struck out four in four innings and the Kelseyville Knights beat El Molino 14-7 in a non-league junior varsity baseball game on Saturday in Kelseyville.
Preston Herdt went 3-for-5 with a double for the Knights (1-1), who opened their season with a 14-3 loss to Justin-Siena on Friday in Kelseyville. Serrano also helped his own cause by going 2-for-3.
In the loss to Justin-Siena, Jonathan Smith went 2-for-3 for the Knights and Zack Cocco went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a blast to right field in the bottom of the fifth.
