MIDDLETOWN — Allegra Macedo pitched a five-inning complete game, allowing just one hit in the fourth, and the Middletown junior varsity softball team beat Healdsburg 13-1 in non-league action Monday at Middletown.
Middletown (2-1) drew 16 walks and had only one hit – a single by Macedo.
Catcher Morgan Manes blocked off the plate and tagged out a Healdsburg player to end the game.
Macedo struck out four and walked seven.
