Right to work state? No. Sorry Ed, but you lose. Look at the figures. I spent 33 percent of my working years working for a union. As a result, 63 percent of my retirement is a result of my 15 years of union employment.
Let”s see if a non-union worker can match that. What this state needs to do is phase out the State Franchise Tax Board, which allows me to pay no state income tax and develop a tax system where I can pay my fair share.
