SRA?
I have a complaint about all of this. Why was this bill not put forth to the voters of this great state? Or so I thought it was.
Is this the way our legislators and Governor think that they are going to solve this problem that really does not exist?
Or is it just another ruse to put forth more money in the General Fund and continue to rip off people who own property in semi- or full-rural areas.
I do not want this. I pay my property taxes already to cover my property by just paying my taxes.
We are in a depression and you think by nickel and diming all us taxpayers that it”s going to get better?
Why can”t our legislators take a 20 percent cut of the their pay, including eliminating all their perks, including our Governor? That alone would save us some money and put that into the SRA.
This is absurd and definitely taxation without representation.
No wonder the Tea Party is up in arms. To me, this is not a Democratic, Republican or Independent issue. It is an issue of just plain common sense.
If you don”t have the money to fund something, don”t fund it. How simple is that?
Every month I sit down and do an estimate of money that is coming in and that is going out. If I have an emergency, I fix it, pay for it and don”t have dinner out for a month or two and if it”s real bad I will eat spaghetti, beans and tortillas everyday until I get on track. This type of senseless spending has got to stop.
I know that someday this will stop, the question is, will it be the right way or the wrong way?
