I have been reading the Record-Bee since it was the Press & Record. Back in those good old days everyone complained that it was all about the good ole boys, now people complaint because someone is trying to do a job.
I know all our Board of Supervisor members and I know our Sheriff and our District Attorney. They are all good people trying to do the job that they were elected to do for all the people of Lake County.
Our Sheriff, when he was campaigning said exactly what he was going to do if he was elected Sheriff.
Our DA said, when he was running for election, exactly what he was gong to do if he was elected DA. All our Supervisors ran on a platform stating what they would do if they were elected for their constituents.
I believe that every single one of these seven elected officials, are doing exactly what they said they would do. Somehow, somewhere along the line they all got on the wrong page, instead of being good ole boys it is a constant misunderstanding, and I believe under many circumstances people have talked before they thought out what they were saying.
As they are all co-workers for the same taxpayers I believe that we should all get on the same page in a big hurry and bury our challenging attitudes and work together to do the job for all the taxpayers that they were elected to do.
I believe we should sit down and bury the hatchet so it can be the benefit of everyone and a lot easier for everyone to do the job working together. I know that all seven are very good people, all with some type of misunderstanding.
This is just a thought for everyone. It does not make our county look very good when all the people at the top are bickering over things that are solvable by sitting down and stating their opinions together and solving the misunderstandings.
