LOWER LAKE — Rehearsals at Lake County Theatre Company (LCTC) are under way for what publicist Suna Flores describes as “one of the most ambitious acting challenges the company has taken on in years.”

The name of the production is, “Mind Games,” a drama by Anthony Horowitz.

The cast features three experienced actors. “Rod Rehe, LCTC”s perennial song and dance man, finds himself deep in the mind of a confusing man whose future is based on a past he may not understand,” Flores said.

“Pam Bradley, the drama instructor for Clear Lake High School in Lakeport, inhabits a woman whose attitude evokes unexplained fear. John Tomlinson, the artistic director of New Vintage, the private theater company in Lake County, displays his acting prowess by becoming a fascinating enigma who is never who viewers think he is. Thus the title, ?Mind Games.””

The play is directed by Tim Barnes, who directed the LCTC production of “The Rocky Horror Show.” The play is scheduled to open in late April at the Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum.
