LAKEPORT — District 4 Supervisor Anthony Farrington represented the Board of Supervisors (BOS) and presented a $8,125 check of county funds to the Lakeport Senior Activity Center”s Board of Directors during its board meeting on March 16.
According to center Executive Director Jonathan Crooks, the Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS) has proven to be a source of support to all of the senior centers in Lake County. The BOS acknowledges the efforts of the volunteers that make each center successful and recognizes the needs of seniors in the community.
The BOS has committed to providing whatever support it can.
Crooks said the Lakeport Senior Activity Center”s board is grateful to have the backing of Farrington and the BOS.
