LAKEPORT — The Lakeport Main Street Association (LMSA) invites Lake County children from 0 to 12 years old to be in the Children”s Push Pull Pet Parade during Easter weekend on April 7.
This parade is for children who love to dress up and show off their pets. Dogs, cats, chickens, goats, ponies, hamsters, ponies ? any pet is eligible. Pets can be led on a leash, ridden, pushed or pulled in wagons, on bikes or other non-powered conveyances. Prizes will be given in four age categories.
The parade is sponsored by the Lakeport Main Street Association, Pet Country, Furry Tails and Biggs 155 Diner.
The parade will start at 10 a.m. at Library Park in downtown Lakeport. There is no cost to enter.
Entry forms are available at the LMSA desk in the lobby of the Lakeport City Hall, located at 225 Park St. from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday or from www.lakeportmainstreet.com.
