LAKE COUNTY — A head-on collision resulted in the arrest of one man, while another man was transported via air ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
At 9:25 a.m. on Monday, Dalton Moore, 21, of Nice crossed over the double-yellow line while driving his 1998 Toyota Corolla eastbound near mile marker 1.21 on Highway 175, Hopland, according to California Highway Patrol Officer (CHP) Kory Reynolds.
Moore crashed head-on into a 1998 Dodge one-ton, flatbed pickup truck driven by David Holley, 51, of Lower Lake. Holley was not transported to a medical facility, but complained of back, neck and shoulder pain following the collision.
Moore”s passenger, Russell Dickson, 18, was transported by REACH air ambulance. It was reported by the CHP that Dickson”s mental status was altered and he had lacerations.
Moore was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and booked at the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility.
