CLEARLAKE OAKS — A woman allegedly crashed into a residential fence, two motorcycles and sheared a utility pole on Tuesday night.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to a solo-vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Harvey Boulevard at 10:15 p.m.
Early reports on the police scanner indicated that two men fled the scene and left an injured passenger in the vehicle, however there was no evidence indicating that occurred, according to the CHP.
Loni Bennett, 25, of Nice, was driving a 2001 Honda Civic westbound on Highway 20, east of Harvey Boulevard when, for unknown reasons she left the roadway striking the fence, motorcycles and utility pole, according to the CHP.
Bennett suffered minor injuries and was later arrested on charges of driving under the influence. She was booked at the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility.
CHP, Lake County Sheriffs, Northshore Fire Protection District and PG & E responded to the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
