KELSEYVILLE — Type in www.lakecountywinegrape.org into the Internet”s web browser and viewers will discover a new look to the Lake County Winegrape Commission”s website. With the assistance of Sky 1 Technologies, the commission launched its recreated site in March.
“The new website is very inviting with beautiful photographic images on our home page and throughout other sections of the site,” Winegrape Commission President Shannon Gunier said. “I think visitors to the site are going to enjoy the graphics and find the information they seek with ease. We are very happy with the site that Sky 1 Technologies has developed. It gives a little punch to the messages we are conveying and helps promote Lake County”s winegrape industry with an up-to-date appearance.
“There are some gorgeous photos of Lake County on the website,” Gunier continued. “We are proud to present incredible images by many professional photographers. They are talented individuals and deserve credit for their work.” Casey Carney, Bryan Dias and Hannah Henry are among the photographers who contributed pictures to the site.
Sky 1 Technologies is a professional website design company based in the Bay Area. Matt Perry, owner/operator, was introduced to the Winegrape Commission by business associate Dias who is a social media consultant for the commission.
Perry and Dias previously worked on a few wine industry projects together, and Dias was instrumental in the development of the new website, said Gunier.
Perry started Sky 1 Technologies in 2006. He had worked independently in the areas of Internet marketing, web and graphic design for 12 years providing service to small businesses in Livermore and to companies as far away as New Zealand.
