KELSEYVILLE — The Saw Shop Gallery Bistro will host a Wildhurst Vineyards Winemaker Dinner on May 1 at 6 p.m. The cost is $65 per person and tax and tip are included in the price.
The first course features Kumamoto oysters on the half shell with Meyer lemon granita, paired with 2010 sauvignon blanc.
The second course is baby Bibb lettuces with walnut-crusted goat cheese, grape tomatoes and candied bacon served with 2010 reserve chardonnay.
The third course is crispy Long Island duck breast with spring berry merlot reduction, southern grits and upland cress paired with 2009 reserve merlot.
The fourth course features zinfandel-braised short ribs with wild mushrooms, crispy gnocchi and fresh herbs paired with 2009 Home Ranch Zinfandel.
The finale offers assorted Artisan cheese plate with bacon-onion jam, marcona almonds and toast points served with Lake County Port.
