LAKE COUNTY — Calpine will host the annual community Earth Day Celebration, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cartwright Geothermal Visitors Center in Middletown.
Residents and visitors are invited to join this free community event showcasing local business and celebrating Lake County sustainability. The event includes live entertainment, demonstrations, booths, activities and more.
Guided bus tours to a geothermal power plant will be given throughout the day; there is no cost, but reservations are strongly recommended.
