LAKE COUNTY — The Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association (AMIA) will hold its monthly guided nature walk at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a tour of the Historic Ranch House Museum.

Billy Gear, park docent and AMIA volunteer, will lead the nature walk. This walk is ADA accessible.

Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars and meet in front of the ranch house at 8:15 a.m. to experience the early morning wildlife.

Park docents Gae Henry and Henry Bornstein will lead a tour of the ranch house immediately after the walk. If rain cancels the walk, the ranch tour will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Boggs Mountain

COBB — Friends of Boggs Mountain will offer a 2.9-mile hike on various Boggs Mountain State Forest trails on Saturday at 9 a.m. These will be moderate-level hikes on moderate terrain with some elevation and will be led by Darlene Hecomovich.

Participants are advised to wear sturdy shoes, dress appropriately for weather conditions and bring water and enthusiasm. Meet at the Parking Lot Kiosk promptly at 9 a.m. The forest entrance is located off Highway 175.
