LAKEPORT — Patriots Around the Lake will host its third annual Tax Day Rally, noon to 2 p.m. Saturday on the Old Courthouse lawn between Second and Third streets on North Main Street in Lakeport.
Patriots Around the Lake is a non-partisan, grassroots organization of people united in preserving values of fiscal responsibility in government spending, constitutionally limited government and free markets. Several candidates for Superior Court Judge and for Lake County Supervisor will be in attendance. Volunteers will be registering citizens to vote and providing information and literature on current political events.
The group meets on the third Monday of every month at Sutton Associates, 290 N. Main St., Lakeport. Its next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday. The guest speaker will be John Munn who is candidate for State Assembly District 4. For more information, call Jaxan at 489-4382 or Tracy at 245-9278.
