UKIAH — Harley Davidson Ukiah will sponsor the fifth annual Chili Cook Off to benefit the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 21.
This year a $5 donation allows attendees to taste and judge chili for the People”s Choice Award.
A panel of judges will also award first- and second-place for chili with beans, first- and second-place for chili without beans, most unusual chili and another prize for the best decorated booth.
CMA will also have a barbecue booth for those who want to supplement their chili with something from the grill. II Big and Rudy and the Raindrops will provide music throughout the event.
CMA members live by the pledge of “Here When You Need Us,” and are frequent helpers at motorcycle events everywhere, helping with registrations, first aid, bike repair, clean up and spiritual help. Harley Davidson is helping them to raise funds at this event to support their worldwide charities Open Doors, Missionary Ventures and The Jesus Film.
