LUCERNE — Thrive Lake County will feature Chuck Lamb and Holly Harris, owners of airkayaks.com, at its next quarterly meeting, 6 to 8 p.m. April 30 at the Lucerne Community Clinic, located at 14th Avenue and Highway 20 in Lucerne.
Lamb and Harris will explain how they took their Lake County business from selling yard sale finds on eBay to being an international dealer for kayak manufacturers ? all done via the Internet using carbon-neutral shipping from a small home and storage shed.
Lamb and Harris will share tips and techniques and obstacles to avoid when doing business online.
The agenda also includes an update on past and upcoming events.
Light appetizers will be provided. Thrive Lake County is asking for a $10 contribution for non-members ($5 for members) to offset meeting costs.
