LAKEPORT — The city is seeking applications for one vacancy on its planning commission.
The Lakeport Planning Commission, which consists of five members on four-year terms, currently meets at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at City Hall.
Interested applicants must be a city resident.
The commission reviews matters related to planning and development and is the city council”s adviser on land-use planning matters.
The commission considers issues such as the General Plan, rezoning, use permits, subdivisions, architectural and design reviews, planning policy matters and interpretations.
Interested people can obtain an application by calling City Clerk Janel Chapman at 263-5615, ext. 12 or visiting the city website, www.cityoflakeport.com (see the “Hot Topics” article titled “Planning Commission Vacancy”).
Applications must be submitted to Chapman by April 26.
