KELSEYVILLE — A Lake County Sheriff”s Office spokesman said “proactive enforcement efforts” by patrol deputies resulted in two arrests and the seizure of drugs Tuesday.
Deputies searched Ashley N. Saxon, 26, and her Cypress Avenue home in Kelseyville at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to Sgt. Steve Brooks. Saxon had allegedly been released from custody with a search clause for a prior narcotics sales case.
The deputies also contacted Casey Rodgers, 26, of Kelseyville in the residence, according to Brooks.
Deputies found a “substantial amount of methamphetamine,” digital scales, packaging materials and a possible meth pipe in the home, the sergeant said.
“Saxon admitted that the aforementioned items belonged to her,” Brooks added.
Saxon was arrested and booked for allegedly possessing a controlled substance, having drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and committing a felony while released from custody on her own recognizance.
Rodgers was arrested for having an outstanding warrant and later released from custody on his signed notice to appear in court, Brooks said.
