LAKE COUNTY — A Kelseyville woman suffered minor injuries as a result of a solo-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 11:10 p.m.
Elizabeth Bounds, 32, was driving a 1995 Volkswagen Jetta when for unknown reasons she exited the roadway at Highway 29 north of Mockingbird Lane in Lakeport and struck a fence.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) Public Information Officer Kory Reynolds, Bounds was going the speed limit. Reynolds said drugs and/or alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
Bounds, the solo-occupant of the vehicle, suffered abrasions to the face and a bloody nose. She was transported to Sutter Lakeside Hospital by Upper Lake Fire Protection District.
CHP Officer Randy Forslund is investigating the incident.
