CLEARLAKE — Multiple structures were destroyed in a late night fire on the 14400
block of Lakeshore Drive Tuesday around 11 p.m. The structures
were situated on the west side of the city”s main thoroughfare behind
Kevi”s Cuts, Cool Ghoul Tattoo and Lake County Sewing and Dry
Cleaning. Firefighters fought the blaze amid windy conditions with
gusts reaching up to 20 miles per hour. Downed power lines and
propane tanks complicated the suppression effort. Lake County Fire
Protection District led the suppression effort with mutual aid
provided by South Lake County Fire Protection District/CAL FIRE,
Northshore, Kelseyville and Lakeport fire agencies.
