LAKEPORT — The Lake County Arts Council (LCAC) presents “When Dance Takes Over,” 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Soper Reese Community Theatre in Lakeport. Doors open 30 minutes prior to show time.
This 31st annual show features more than 150 dancers in a smorgasbord of dance that includes jazz, ballet, toe, tap, clogging, hip-hop and an African number.
New, to this show are the dancers from Sheila LaVine”s Theatre/Dance. Other studios and instructors participating in this fundraiser for the LCAC are Antoinette School of Dance in Lakeport, Expressive Motion of Middletown and Konocti Dance Academy in Clearlake.
Reserved seating costs $20 and is available only at the Soper-Reese box office, which is located at 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport. The box office can be reached by calling 263-0577 or online at www.soperreesetheatre.com.
