* Second Sunday Cinema will screen “Hot Coffee,” an HBO documentary about Liebeck vs McDonalds, in which a woman who spilled hot coffee in her lap sued McDonald”s, 6 p.m. at the Clearlake United Methodist Church, located at 14521 Pearl Ave. in Clearlake. * Buckingham will hold its open studio tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists on the tour include John Clarke, Carolyn Morris, Leah Adams, Gaylene McComb, Katie Folk, Julie Berry, Bobbie Bridges, Joan Mankins, Diane Tembey-Stawicki, Jan Hambric, Karen Magnason, Tina Lewis, Richard Hernaez, Carolyn Marchetti, and Diana Tandeske. Watercolors, clay, oil and acrylics are some of the media represented. Tickets include brunch from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost of the tickets is $10 and they can be purchased on the morning of the tour at the Buckingham Clubhouse. Art raffle tickets are available at the door. * Soper-Reese Community Theatre and KPFZ 88.1 FM co-present a live radio variety program that takes place at 6 p.m. on the last Sunday of the month. The program is staged at the theater before a live audience. Admission costs $5. The show is modeled after “A Prairie Home Companion,” with live local music, comedy, skits and surprises. Listeners are invited to come out to the theater or tune in via the radio or online via kpfz.org.
