LAKE COUNTY — High school and youth sports coaches, golf club publicity officers, racing track promoters and all others who routinely report sports results or submit sports photographs to the Lake County Record-Bee are welcome to attend a May 23 workshop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Soper Reese Community Theatre in Lakeport.
Professionals from the Lake County Publishing Editorial Department will be conducting the workshop for members of the public who regularly submit press releases/information to the Record-Bee, Observer American, South County News, Northshore News and to the Record-Bee”s online edition (www.record-bee.com).
Handouts about submitting press releases and many how-to materials will be provided to participants of the workshop. There also will be an information presentation and instruction on social media and emerging opportunities in print and online products.
There will be presentations by reporters as well as a question-and-answer session.
