LAKEPORT — A 73-year-old Lakeport woman is looking for information about the full-size tricycle she said was stolen from outside of her mobile home on Mother”s Day.
“They did it so sneaky in the middle of the night that I didn”t hear nothing and the dog didn”t even bark,” Mary Dippolito said.
The tricycle sat in the carport outside her home at Clearlake Marina Mobile Home Park on South Main Street in Lakeport.
It is a royal blue Schwinn tricycle with a black basket between the two back wheels.
Dippolito, who crochets American flags to earn extra money, was spotlighted by the Record-Bee in a September article.
She said the tricycle is her only mode of transportation. “It makes me more independent,” she added.
Dippolito is offering a $50 reward for information leading to the successful return of the tricycle. She can be reached at 263-3885.
The Lakeport Police Department has no leads at this time. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Officer Jarvis Leishman at 263-5491.
