CLEARLAKE — Lakeshore Lions Club is again working to keep the Fourth of July fireworks display alive. This year, the Redbud Parade and Festival will be held on June 30 in Clearlake.
A carwash is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Silk”s Bar & Grill on Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake. To donate directly to this year”s fireworks display, send checks payable to Lakeshore Lions Club to Bob Kiel, PO Box 3786, Clearlake, CA 95422.
The theme of this year”s parade is “At the Movies.” The parade will begin at 11 a.m. from Redbud Park and continue down Lakeshore Drive to Austin Park.
At Austin Park the Lakeshore Lions and Lakeshore Lioness clubs will sell food, cold drinks and beer. The event will also include the 12th annual Show and Shine Car Show, arts and craft vendors, games and entertainment.
Parade entry forms are available at the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce, Bob”s Vacuum, Clearlake Automotive, Kevin Ness Jewelers and Tatonka Trading.
