LAKEPORT — An alleged stabbing incident in Lakeport ended with the arrest of Krissandra Burrows, 26,of Lakeport, according to Lakeport Police Department (LPD) Sgt. Ferguson
On Thursday at about 5:53 p.m. a Lakeport Police Department Sergeant responded to Sutter Lakeside Hospital to contact an assault victim. The victim, a 42-year-old Lakeport resident, reported he was stabbed multiple times in the left hand and right thigh by an unknown Hispanic man on the north side of Library Park. The victim was unable to provide any further information regarding who stabbed him.
A search of the parklands revealed no evidence to suggest a stabbing had in fact occurred at the location provided by victim.
During the course of the evening officers developed information that led to a potential suspect and location where the stabbing occurred. Officers responded to 250 15th St. and
identified evidence of a crime scene outside the residence.
Officers contacted Burrows, the victim”s girlfriend and through follow-up investigation, learned that Burrows allegedly stabbed the victim during a domestic violence disturbance. Burrows was placed under arrest and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with great bodily injury and domestic violence. Burrows was transported to the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility where she was booked.
