The Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS) meets today at 9 a.m. at the Lake County Courthouse.
The BOS will present two proclamations at 9:10 a.m.: one appointing Elaine Watt as Lake County Poet Laureate for 2012 to 2014 and one designating the current week as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week.
At 9:30 a.m., the BOS will consider three Water Resources topics: an ordinance to amend the Lake County Code section relating to the water-vessel inspection program, a proposal to install boat cleaning stations at Redbud Park and in Lakeport, and a presentation of preliminary results of water and sediment studies by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Among non-timed items will be the consideration of a proposed agreement between the county and the Lake Transit Authority to establish a pilot program for a seasonal bus route on Mount Konocti.
