LAKE COUNTY — The Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) Executive Committee Wednesday approved disbursements for more than $1.7 million in anticipated public safety realignment funding for Lake County.
Approval went to several county departments, according to Chief Probation Officer Rob Howe: probation for $903,636, sheriff”s office for $642,000 and public health for $97,797.
Another $87,732 went to a CCP contingency fund, Howe said.
The three departments were the only ones to make funding requests, he added.
The anticipated funds are pending finalization of the state budget, Howe said.
