I worked 17 years for the Lake County Sheriff”s Department in the corrections division, and transported thousands of prisoners, to and from court. I sat in on hundreds of cases, observing court procedures, attorneys and judges. I observed inmates who understood what was going on and many that were clueless to the procedures affecting them. One of the judge”s responsibilities is to maintain a demeanor that supports a fair and unbiased environment for the trial or hearing.
I see in Michael Friel a strong background in both civil and criminal law and a careful and consistent demeanor. Both my wife, Jaxan, and I have determined that Michael Friel is our choice for Judge.
