LAKE COUNTY — With Tuesday”s election approaching, the Lake County Registrar of Voters” Office recently received financial updates from local campaign committees.
The figures represented total contributions received and expenditures made between Jan. 1 and May 19.
For the District 1 Supervisor contest, the committee to re-elect Jim Comstock reported receiving $30,000 and expending $23,504.37.
The challenger”s committee, Victoria Brandon for supervisor, reported its total contributions as $25,475.73 and its expenditures as $17,223.33.
In the District 4 Supervisor race, the committee to re-elect Anthony W. Farrington reported $19,305.83 in contributions and $9,932.77 in expenditures. The committee to elect Fred Langston reported receiving $2,349.85 and expending $2,036.25.
For District 5 Supervisor, the campaign to elect Rob Brown reported $19,939 in contributions and $21,310.39 in expenditures. Joan Moss for supervisor reported receiving $4,661 and expending $3,661.04.
Committees for the three incumbents also reported financial activities during 2011.
There are four candidates for Lake County Superior Court Department 1 judge.
The campaign to elect Judy Conard reported $17,239.12 in contributions and $14,811.52 in expenditures.
The committee to elect Michael Friel reported receiving $12,997.87 and expending $12,052.56.
The committee to elect Susan Krones reported $3,750 in contributions and $2,188.94 in expenditures.
The committee to elect Michael S. Lunas reported $18,841 in contributions and $17,740.60 in expenditures.
Groups for and against Measure D, the local medical marijuana cultivation initiative, also reported figures.
Citizens to Protect Lake County — No on Measure D reported $9,200 in contributions and $8,751.20 in expenditures.
Yes on Measure D, Lake County Citizens for Responsible Regulations, sponsored by the Lake County Green Farmers Association, an association of medicinal cannabis patients and patient organizations reported receiving $10,369.15 and expending $12,641.10.
Yes on Measure D also reported about $31,600 in contributions and about $30,880 in expenditures during 2011.
