LAKE COUNTY — Cobbstock, a homespun variation on the original 1969 outdoor music festival, returns to Cobb Mountain for a two-day event featuring musicians and outdoor activities. Cobbstock showcases bands and individual musicians on Friday and Saturday.

This year”s talent includes an eclectic mix of rock, surf, bluegrass and rockabilly music.

Friday night features the Attic Band and closes with the CAM Band.

Also appearing Friday will be The Mark Lamirande Project, Blind Monkey and Lost Coast Smugglers.

Saturday”s show includes Cheating Daylight, featuring Cobb residents Jacob and Connor Gill.

Other acts include Colby Lee, Inner Edge, Pitney Lane Collective, Short Sax, Psychedellos, The Pyronauts, Jill Shaul and Sarah Tichava, Rukkus, and the traditional closing day act is the Prather Brothers. According to producer Danny Prather, “people always come back for a good time.”

Tickets cost $10 for the Friday show and $20 for Saturday. Children younger than 12 enter free.

For those who purchase a two-day pass, a $5 discount is offered.

Friday”s show takes place from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday”s performances begin at 11 a.m. and ends at 10 p.m.

The event takes place at Jellystone RV Park and Camp Resort, 14117 Bottle Rock Road. Tent and RV sites are available for those wishing to stay the night or weekend.

Vendors will provide food and beverages, although packing in a cooler is encouraged, as are umbrellas and chairs. No glass or dogs are permitted.

Nonprofit organizations, vendors and local artisan booths are welcome.
