LUCERNE — Action by officials at a Southern California university over the weekend could move the Lucerne Hotel closer to becoming a college site.
The Marymount College Board of Trustees unanimously approved a memorandum of understanding with the county of Lake on Saturday for the development of a college campus at the Lucerne Hotel, according to school representative Kelly Curtis Intagliata.
The Lake County Board of Supervisors made a similar move during its meeting last week.
