LAKEPORT — Defacing of property was reported on Sunday and by Wednesday there were 15 separate incidents of graffiti tagging in Lakeport, according to Sgt. Jason Ferguson of Lakeport Police Department (LPD).
Ferguson said all 15 of the acts of vandalism are similar. The LPD is actively taking enforcement measures.
Between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, three boats at Hillside Honda were defaced.
Owner Paul Breunig said, “I wish people like this had something better to do with their time. They obviously have a low regard and disrespect for people”s property.
Brad Bastian, owner of Shelden Signs & Lighting spent an afternoon cleaning spray paint off of sign that was tagged Tuesday night or Wednesday morning on Main Street in Lakeport.
