KELSEYVILLE — The service of a search warrant by the Lake County Sheriff”s Office (LCSO) Narcotics Task Force resulted in two arrests, the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medication, four glass pipes and several hypodermic syringes.
Narcotics detectives secured a search warrant May 24 for the person, home and vehicle of Russell Allan Lee, 52, of Kelseyville, according to LCSO Sgt. Steve Brooks. Narcotics detectives located Lee”s vehicle on June 1 around 9:20 p.m. in the Lower Lake area.
Brooks said the detectives conducted an enforcement stop with the assistance of the Clearlake Police Department. Lee, who was the driver of the vehicle, was detained.
The search warrant was served on the vehicle and the narcotics detection K9 allegedly alerted on the trunk area of Lee”s vehicle, according to Brooks. A search of the vehicle reportedly produced approximately one ounce of methamphetamine, which was hidden in the trunk area.
Brooks said a canister of pepper spray and an open container of alcohol were also found in the vehicle, and Lee was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
Lee was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine for sale, transportation of methamphetamine for sale, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing an open container and a felon in possession of tear gas. He was transported and booked into the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility.
Around 10:40 p.m. that same night, narcotics detectives served the search warrant on Lee”s home, which is located on Riviera Heights Drive in Kelseyville.
Brooks said when detectives entered the home, they contacted Suzanne Michelle Boccaleoni, 38, of Kelseyville, who was detained without incident.
Brooks said detectives located a large-scale indoor marijuana cultivation operation in the garage area during a search, containing 118 mature marijuana plants. Inside one of the bedrooms, detectives located 21 immature female marijuana clones and several blue tablets in a plastic bag, which were later identified as Diazepam, according to Brooks. Two glass pipes were reportedly also located in the living room area.
A search of Boccaleoni”s bedroom reportedly produced a glass pipe used to ingest methamphetamine and an uncapped hypodermic syringe, along with a small amount of methamphetamine and a glass pipe located inside Boccaleoni”s purse, Brooks said.
Detectives conducted a search of a motor home located on the property and reportedly located 27 hypodermic syringes and a digital scale, according to Brooks.
Boccaleoni was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. She was transported and booked into the Hill Road Correctional Facility. Brooks said detectives also booked Lee for the additional charges of cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale.
